Does anyone have ideas of how to make a group cruise the most fun?(Carnival Sensation)?

Does anyone have ideas of how to make a group cruise the most fun?(Carnival Sensation)?

Answer :
Hi, This is Mike from Pa. and we just got back from the Bahamas on sept. 20th. on the carnaval sensation! What a ship. We had a load of fun. They offer all kind of group activities. Vollyball and basket ball for one. They did the "newlywed" game. Very funny. They have the casino and kareoki. If you get a chance Port Canaveral Had a lot to offer also. Cape Canaveral is only minutes away.

Answer :
Party.....morning,day and night......

Seriously, plan a excursion at every port. (Shopping, snorkeling, sight seeing etc) Go to all the shows. Check the itinerary of ship activities on cruising days and sign up.
Research things to do and see.
here is a great website to check out

Don't forget to just relax and read a book on deck.

Enjoy.)

Carnival Sensation what can I expect???

I will be going on the Carnival Sensation for a 3 day cruise for a wedding in September. Never been on a cruise, how much do you think I will spend daily and is 3 days to short to do a lot of activities?? Please offer your insight. Female 27y/o

Answer :
You don't have to spend anything or you can spend a lot. Meals and a few beverages, tea, coffee, and a few other drinks are furnished. If you drink soft drinks, and alcohol it will cost you. There are beverages in the room and if you drink them they will cost so pack your own soft drinks and water bottles if you want to save money.

They take pictures of you all over the ship. Let them take several and pick from the best. The more you let them take the more poses you have to choose from. It does no cost anything to get them taken. That is another thing that cost but you will probably want a few.

The gift shop items will cost. And if you gamble that is out of your pocket of course. If you decide to take any excursions off the ship they will cost.

Always take the opportunity to eat in the dining room, especially dinner. The food is awesome and you get to eat cuisine that would cost a fortune at home. Breakfast is not much different and we liked the casual fare (buffet) better.

My husband, cousin and friend went on a four day cruise. My cousin spent quite a bit more than we did because she drinks.

And a tip for the crew is expected at the end of the cruise.

Captain's dinner on Carnival Sensation?

I am a teenager and I don't know what to wear for the captains dinner on the Carnival Sensation. I have a sundress from abercrombie...and lke homecoming type dresses and a fancy black dress from White Black...which kind of dress is appropriate?

Answer :
The LBD (little black dress) is always appropriate. Add some pearls and heels and you'll look spectacular.
You should look at the Captain's dinner as a semi formal event.

Answer :
Wear what you would wear to a wedding or some other formal event. Nonetheless, Carnival is fairly relaxed as far as dress codes go. As long as you look like you are ready to Sunday church you will be fine.

It is a vacation. Enjoy yourself and don't worry about how formal you look. Others will not be dressed formally.

Answer :
I've been on those and those are the funnest! but anyways, both of those would be appropriate. but it doesn't have to be CRAZY formal so even the dress from abercrombie would be fine.

Answer :
You can wear just about anything that is clean and free of wine stains...good taste would be nice...think like-"Gigit goes to sea"... no skin at middrift...tongue rings..that sort of thing... you get the picture..but if you want to be the sensation of the "Sensation"...ignore all advice and do what you will...after all, you're paying for it...unless of course its your parents who are paying..in which case, you should probably be asking them this question instead of the rest of the world.

First time On the Carnival Sensation to Bahamas

Where is the Best Place to Go? Do I have to Dress Up For Dinner, What do I Wear?

Answer :
after the day at shore you have to dress up for dinner the rest of the days it doesnt matter do NOT go on a shore excursion and be careful with the sign and sail card

Answer :
Paradise Island, don't fall trap to the sellers outside in port docking they will try to rob you with their gimmicks of having the best prices on MoPeds cost 60 plus 20 deposit. and its not worth just keep on walking to the outside and suggestion take a bus or taxi its much cheaper.
